Since 1982, when South Suburban College professor Mary Jane Carlson organized over 80 women at what would become the Heritage Quilters of South Suburbia, members have been dedicated to preserving and advancing the art of quilt making. Quilt making is an art that encourages individualism, creativity, knowledge and enthusiasm in sharing with others.
Contact Cindy if you would like to pick up squares and donated fabric to complete a Quilt of Valor. We will have a presentation about Quilts of Valor in April.
