Since 1982, when South Suburban College professor Mary Jane Carlson organized over 80 women at what would become the Heritage Quilters of South Suburbia, members have been dedicated to preserving and advancing the art of quilt making. Quilt making is an art that encourages individualism, creativity, knowledge and enthusiasm in sharing with others.

January is Service Month
Members will meet to work on projects that the guild will donate. We will be working on Quilts of Valor and ask for donations of red, white and blue (patriotic) fabric. Contact Cindy if you want to man an ironing, cutting or sewing station. Chilli and soup will be served. Let Cindy know if you want to bring a dish. Doors open at 5 PM, dinner at 5:30.

Monthly Meetings are held the third Tuesday of January, February, March, April, May, June, September, October and November. (July, August and December are off.) Meetings start at 7 P.M. with a sewing bee or Accuquilt session at 5:30 P.M.
