Heritage quilters' guild OF SOUTH SUBURBIA

Instead of Block of the Month, we would like to present a creative challenge to our membership. Row quilts are designed around a theme. We would like members, single or in teams, to design and sew a row for a quilt. When the quilts are assembled, we recommend that they be 48 inches wide and 54 inches long. Limit the tallest row to 12 1/2 inches. Bring finished rows to the meeting by July. We will assemble them. Volunteers will quilt and bind. Hopefully, we will sell them at Paarlberg. Pick up more detailed instructions on the table at April's meeting.

Our 2026 Opportunity Quilt is finished. It is a classic blue and white design featuring intersecting stars. Kim will have tickets available. Every member is expected to participate in our major fund raiser.

​Membership will be open for renewal. Cost remains at $30.00.

*Sign up for the June 20 sew in day at Top Shelf quilts, 9:30 -4:00. Car pools can be arranged. Bring your lunch, order in , or go out to eat.

*We are going to need items for Paarlberg, please.​​

*Elections will be held this year for officers. If you are interested in running for office, let the nominating committee know. Elections will be held in July. Installation in August.

*Our Pot Luck, Red, White and Blue and bobbins too!, will be held on June 9. Note, it is earlier than our regular monthly meeting. Our favorite event starts at 6 PM. Bring a dish to donate and a beverage to drink. There will be a short business meeting but no show n tell, door prizes or resales.
