Since 1982, when South Suburban College professor Mary Jane Carlson organized over 80 women at what would become the Heritage Quilters of South Suburbia, members have been dedicated to preserving and advancing the art of quilt making. Quilt making is an art that encourages individualism, creativity, knowledge and enthusiasm in sharing with others.
May will be the last chance members have to sign up for the 2025 retreat. We will be returning to Pins and Needles in Lake Geneva, WI. We will be meeting June 26 -28. The cost is $375 due before June. Car pools have been arranged. See Anna. Packets will be handed out in June.
Opportunity Quilt 2025
Members are asked to pick up their Opportunity Quilt tickets. Please see Kim. All members are required to sell tickets for the quilt. This is our main fund raiser. So little money for the possibility of owning so beautiful a creation.
Members are asked to donate medium and dark blues for our next Opportunity Quilt. Please cut the fabric into 5 1/2 inch by 11 inch pieces.

Monthly Meetings are held the third Tuesday of January, February, March, April, May, June, September, October and November. (July, August and December are off.) Meetings start at 7 P.M. with a sewing bee or Accuquilt session at 5:30 P.M.
