The Heritage Quilters Guild of South Suburbia has been formed to preserve quilt-making and its heritage, and to promote quilt-making and collecting. We feel that the art of making quilts is important, for it encourages individualism, creativity, knowledge, and enthusiasm, which are shared with others. Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month September through June, excluding December. Meetings begin at 7pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 651 E. 166th Street, South Holland, IL., 60473. Yearly dues of $30, and are renewable beginning in May. Visitors are welcome for a $5 fee. Board meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
